So here I am sitting in a king air flying back to Seoul. The seats are leather, white walled interior with wood paneling. Fancy. We just took a couple of hawks down to get painted. Sitting the Back of a blackhawk coming back from flying the DMZ of the koreas, I think. As I looked to the north you see nothing but bare mountainscapes. No hope up there. Is amazing. I've been in Seoul for less than 24 hrs and I can tell I'm going to love it here. Currently I'm on a bus to in process at camp stanley up north of Seoul. It sounds like I will be going to K16 which I'm told is 30 min south of Seoul. That means that I will be between humphreys and Seoul. Perfect. Osan market will be right there. ( Read more... )

Rio was awesome. Yeah I know it's a kids movie but it really touches on the importance of learning how to fly. Please, if you've ever wanted to learn how to fly, I beg you to go out and do it. You'll regret it one day if you don't.

It's amazing how music can evoke so much emotion. When I listen to trance with its plucks and simple harmonies, strings sweeping in modulation in the background, square wave beeps, additive plucks ect... I close my eyes and am taken to faraway places. I see colors. Meditative almost. Above and Beyond have to be my favorite group of all time. ( Read more... )

One of the beauties of this LJ app on my iPad is that I can post entries with our Internet and upload them later once a connection is made. I'm lying in my unmade bed right now just having watched several of my hang gliding videos and the Utah one Sarah made. Oh how I miss it. My body craves it. So I'm marring the love of my life. Nothing seems to be different. We're still the same us. There is a lot we have to do legally now with paperwork and army pay and tri care and stuff. No biggie.
